Updated Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Today seems to be a good day. I survived a arrow to the arse, some weird green creepy thing and discovered skeletons/zombies cannot survive sunlight. Skeletons also drop arrows when they die. Which I need. And...bones. I don't know which bones, all I know is that they lie there right next to the arrows... I don't feel all that good about taking them with me, but survival of the fittest in this strange world.

Talking of strange things, I can hear noises in the desert, but I cannot see them. Scanning the area, I see a cave off to the side. Maybe the cave leads under the sand, and that's where these creatures lurk. It's deep in there, really deep... but before I decide on what to do, my foot slips and I fall down the hole.



Ow.

that was a long drop, surely I broke something there. Placing a torch (or three) on the wall, I survey the area. There's coal, iron and... gold? It looks like gold to me. It's... well, gold coloured for one. There's only a couple of pieces her though. I hope I can find some more on my exploration.

After a while, a few more drops, I've found lava. It's in a pool and doesn't seem to move. Like the lava pool outside... just without a forest to set fire to. Looking through the tunnels around here, I spot something in the floor. It's blue, hard... and looks like diamonds? The hardest gem known to man? oh god, the things I could make with this. There;s 4 pieces in all and, hugging my prize close to my chest, I make my way back to base.



Night draws in and, hiding in my base otherwise, I take down a spider or two. They leave string behind and a thought comes to mind. Why not tie the string to a stick and make a fishing rod? Maybe I could fish up some... fish...

I set to work, and soon enough I am in pocession of a fishing rod. Time to go fishing!
